Activities mark 65th anniversary of Vietnam People’s Army

(ĐN)- Dong Nai Museum in cooperation with the Provincial Military Headquarters and Arts and Literature Association held an exhibition to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Vietnamese Peoples Army Day and the 20th anniversary of Vietnams National Defense Day. The exhibition features 200 photos and 40 items to introduce stories about armed forces, revolutionary resistance wars and soldiers.

* More than 3,400 cadres and soldiers from the people’s armed forces units have been mobilized to help local residents upgrade roads, build gratitude and charity houses. They also provided free medical check-ups and medicine to poor people in remote communes.

* Late last week, leaders of Xuan Loc district’s Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Front Fatherland Committee burned incense and laid wreaths at the district’s Monument to Heroic Martyrs. On this occasion, a get-together for revolutionary veterans and demobilized officers was also organized.
