Dong Nai wins special prize at APICTA 2009

(ĐN)- The Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology has once again proved its prowess at the annual Asia Pacific Information and Communication Technology Awards (APICTA).

(ĐN)- The Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology has once again proved its prowess at the annual Asia Pacific Information and Communication Technology Awards (APICTA).

The Department won a special prize for its product in information security management at the APICTA 2009.

The Awards Presentation Ceremony was held last night at the Crown Tower Hotel in Melbourne, Australia.

Earlier, “None Standard Security Portal (NSSP)” produced by the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology brought home a gold cup from the APICTA 2006, and “Using VSAT IP Solution to Bring Broadband Internet to the Countryside” made by the Department won silver medal at the APICTA 2008.

The 2009 APICTA contest, held in Australia from Dec. 12-17, drew participants from 11 countries and territories in the Asia-Pacific region including Australia, Brunei, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Macau, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. A total of 158 nominees from the APICTA member economies took part in three-day event here.
