(ĐN)- According to Xuan Loc district’s People’s Committee, Water Saving Irrigation Method was developed and widely popularized in the district and the application of fertilizer through irrigation systems was also promoted in the locality. By the end of November this year, the district brought almost 450 hectares of pepper, mango, coffee, cashew… under this water saving irrigation method. In addition, local farmers also adopted the advanced agricultural technologies. This combination helped to increase the yield of pepper to 7-10 tonnes per hectare, the yield of mangoes ranged between 30-35 million tonnes per hectare… helping farmers earn income four to six times higher than before.
