(ĐN)- From the beginning of the year until now, the Defense and Security Education Councils at grassroots levels have organised 255 training courses on national defence-security knowledge for 42,788 cadres, party members across the province. In addition, as many as 89,865 students from 66 universities, colleges and high schools in Dong Nai have taken part in defence knowledge classes on national war history, weapon usage and relevant political issues, organised by local military agencies and the provincial military school.
At the courses, trainees have been introduced to guidelines and policies of the Party and state on military and defence tasks. They have been also provided with basic knowledge on the construction and operation and training of the self-defence forces at provincial levels.
The courses aims to improve the awareness of defence and security tasks and strengthening the unity of all people.
