(ĐN)- The Handicap International in cooperation with the provincial Traffic Safety Committee opened a training course on traffic safety from 21-23 Oct. for 300 disabled people in Bien Hoa city, Vinh Cuu district and Long Khanh town.
This is part of the project “Traffic Safety for a Better Life” launched by the Handicap International who has signed an agreement to give Dong Nai US$307,276 USD to carry out the project till 2010.
Participants are taught safe driving skills, safe walking skills, including how to cross the street and safe bicycling, how to wear helmets and sit properly on a motorcycle and how to provide first aid to traffic accident victims.
