Dinh Quan reported the district’s nine-month agro-forestry-fishery production value reached more than VND1,000 billion, a 3.8 percent year-on-year rise. The annual average income per capita is estimated at over VND13 million, a 30 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
Over the past time, the district solved jobs for more than 4,000 laborers and provided vocational training to 5,000 people. 96% of households in Dinh Quan have access to electricity; more than 64% of communes have doctors and 95% of the population have access to safe water, according to the report.
In addition, the district has deployed to build industrial complexes and residential areas in 11 communes.
Speaking at the working session, Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh highly appreciated efforts made by Dinh Quan district’s leaders and people in the past time. He also stressed that the district should further focus on training human resources and implementing incentive policies to attract investors.
