(ĐN)- On Sept 20, Dong Nai Radio and Television cooperated with An Giang province’s Study Promotion Association to hold the Dieu Xien scholarship awarding ceremony for ethnic students in some provinces of Cuu Long Delta.
At the ceremony, 86 scholarships worth VND1-2 million each were granted to Cham and Khmer ethnic students in An Giang, Soc Trang, Tra Vinh, Bac Lieu and Tien Giang province.
In the new school year of 2009-2010, Dieu Xien Scholarship Fund has offered 506 scholarships and 360 bicycles worth a total of nearly VND1 billion to poor ethnic students with outstanding academic achievements in the provinces of South Eastern, Cuu Long Delta, North-western region and Central Highland.
