(ĐN)- The first provincial emulation congress on study encouragement was held at Dong Nai province’s Sport-Culture Complex on Sept 18.
The congress was attended by Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and more than 350 organisations and individuals who have made active contributions to study encouragement movements.

After nearly nine years of operation, Dong Nai Study Promotion Association has developed more than 233 branches with nearly 117,000 members. At the ceremony, the Long Thanh and Nhon Trach districts’ Study Promotion Associations and an individual received excellent emulation flags and a campaign medal “For the Cause of Study Encouragement” from Vietnam Study Encouragement Association.
On this occasion, Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee awarded certificates of merit to 38 collectives and 46 individuals for their contributions to the province’s study promotion activities. Eight most excellent collectives and individuals were chosen to participate in the national emulation congress on study encouragement that will take place in Ha Noi on Sept 23.
In the coming time, the association will continue to promote the implementation of “Studying and following the late President Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples” movement across the province and make suitable efforts to boost implementation of study encouragement movements and the building of an educated society.
