During four days from Sept 7-10, the floodwaters submerged 1,144 houses, destroyed over 1,000 hectares of farmland and damaged over 3km-stretch of road in districts of Tan Phu, Dinh Quan and Vinh Cuu.

During four days from Sept 7-10, the floodwaters submerged 1,144 houses, destroyed over 1,000 hectares of farmland and damaged over 3km-stretch of road in districts of Tan Phu, Dinh Quan and Vinh Cuu.
According to the provincial steering committee for flood and storm prevention and control, no injuries or deaths are reported because localities have prepared the necessary facilities and equipment to cope with floods. Besides, measures have been intensified to minimize losses caused by the torrential rains.
