(ĐN)- According to the information from Vinh Cuu district’s police, an elephant was found dead in the Xa Mat stream area in Vinh Cuu Relics and Nature Reserve, Dong Nai province on Tuesday.
The male elephant, weighing an estimated 400-500 kilograms, was the fifth dead elephant found in the nature reserve in the past four months.
The elephant probably have been swept away by flood waters caused by a prolonged tropical depression this week.
Police said they are investigating all the incidents.
