(ĐN)- From the beginning of the year until now, Vinh Cuu district mobilized VND2.854 billion to build 181 charity houses for local poor households. Accordingly, the district handed over 108 houses worth a total of VND1.759 billion; the remaining houses will be presented in the third quarter of the year.
Vinh Cuu is striving to eradicate temporary houses for poor by the end of 2009.
