(ĐN)- An experimental project for using bus service subsidy to transport workers to and from their place of work has been launched in Bien Hoa city since early this month. It is a pilot project in Bien Hoa city with the aim of providing a stable transportation service for workers and avoiding traffic jams in the city’s industrial parks. As started in July, the city saw an increase in number of bus travelers who were wokers at factories in local industrial parks like Amata IP and Bien Hoa 2 IP. The reason was that free fares during experimental period prompted more workers take buses instead of using individual vehicles. The experimental period will last until the end of September of this year.
