(ĐN)- An increasing number of rural residents are benefiting from the Governments environmental hygiene programme. From the beginning of this year until now, the province provided hygienic toilets and hygienic animal husbandry facilities for 1,850 rural families, according to the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. The programme has so far helped build hygienic toilets for about 62% of rural households and hygienic animal husbandry facilities for 55% of rural families in the province. The province is planning to raise the number of rural families using hygienic toilets to 66% and those receiving sanitary facilities in their farms to 60% by the end of this year.
