(ĐN)-On April 3, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Hong Phuong and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot had a working session with Hansen Partnership, an Australian consulting company, on Long Thanh international airport project.
According to consulting company, Long Thanh international airport will be on a par with major airports around the world. It will have eight administrative sections and serve approximately 100 million passengers annually. The Long Thanh area will also be built into a modern city with an estimated population of 230,000.
Speaking at the working session, the provincial leaders asked the Hansen Partnership to devise planning for the project and assigned functional departments to consult with the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Transport.
