(ĐN)- On April 1, a delegation led by Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Van Vinh had a working session with Tan Phu district’s leaders on the implementation of socio-economic development tasks in the first quarter of 2009.
Speaking at the working session, Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh stressed that Tan Phu should make further efforts to provide free-vocational training courses for local people and promote job generation activities to help local people escape from poverty in a sustainable manner. Special attention should be paid to training qualified cadres to meet the demand of locality.
* At the same day, Vice Chairman also had a working session with Dinh Quan district’s authorities.
According to the report, Dinh Quan district’s industrial production value estimated to reach approximately VND240 million in the first quarter of 2009, achieving 34% of the year’s plan, up 13% compared to the same period last year.
At the working session, Mr. Tran Van Vinh expressed his hope that the district will continue to tap its strength and potential to fulfill its socio-economic targets for 2009.
