(ĐN)- In the morning of January 12, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Hong Phuong and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot had a working session with leaders of departments, agencies on preparation for the Lunar New Year 2009.

According to Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, most enterprises in the province have announced Tet bonuses so far. Accordingly, the lowest bonus level was VND900,000 per person, while the highest level was VND142million. The department plans to care for policy beneficiaries and poor families, ensure a happy Tet for them.
The related departments and agencies also plan to ensure enough key commodities for Tet consumption. Speaking at the working session, Chairman Vo Van Mot asked relevant agencies to make concerted efforts to tighten market management in order to prevent smuggling and the trading of low-quality and counterfeit goods, organize entertainment activities, exhibitions and fairs to serve the entertainment and shopping needs of local people during the Tet holiday.
