(ĐN)- In the morning of January 12, 15 houses under the programme No.134 were handed over to households of Cho Ro ethnic minority people in Trang Bom district’s Tay Hoa commune, each worth VND27 million, including 21 billion from the State budget, and the remainder from local budget. Each house has an area of 37 sq.m. There are 54 households of Cho Ro people living in Nhan Hoa hamlet, Tay Hoa commune, Trang Bom district. So far, 40 houses have been donated to families of Cho Ro people in Trang Bom district’s Tay Hoa commune.
Earlier, Dong Nai Customs Department in coordination with the Dong Nai Investment and Development Fund and Cong Thanh company sent a delegation to visit and give 140 Tet presents to Cho Ro ethnic minority people in Ly Lich 1 hamlet, Phu Ly commune, Vinh Cuu district. On this occasion, Cong Thanh company pledged to donate 10 sets of computers to the high school in the commune of Phu Ly before the start of the 2009-2010 school year.
With Tet approaching, Dong Nai Customs Department visited and gave 90 presents worth VND 200,000 – VND 300,000 VND each to social welfare beneficiaries, Dong Nai Centre for Disabled and Orphaned Children and Dong Nai Care Centre for policy beneficiaries.
Viet-am company presented 2 houses of charity for a policy family in Bien Hoa city and a poor family in Long Thanh district in order to help them welcome Tet in adequate housing. In addition, the company also gave gifts to 2 Vietnamese heroic mothers and Dong Nai Care Centre for policy beneficiaries.
