(ĐN)- Long Thanh district-based An Hoa Pagoda upgrade project kicked off on January 7. The pagoda was built in 1792 and recognized as national level vestige in 1989.

(ĐN)- Long Thanh district-based An Hoa Pagoda upgrade project kicked off on January 7. The pagoda was built in 1792 and recognized as national level vestige in 1989. Over the past 217 years, the An Hoa pagoda has been repaired three times, but it is now being downgraded.

 
An Hoa Pagoda upgrade project started on January 1.

The upgrade project has a total cost of more than VND5 billion, of which local people contributed VND500 million. The project is expected to complete in April 2009.
