Chairman Vo Van Mot receives Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Mitsuo Sakaba

(ĐN)- Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot yesterday received Japanese Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Vietnam Mitsuo Sakaba in Dong Nai.

(ĐN)- Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot yesterday received Japanese Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Vietnam Mitsuo Sakaba in Dong Nai.

At the reception, Chairman Vo Van Mot briefed the Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam on the province’s social and economic development and Mot said Japan has maintained its status as the largest investor in Dong Nai over the past recent years.

Mr. Vo Van Mot also introduced the guest with encouraging projects in Dong Nai between now and 2010 in the areas of human resource training, environmental protection and infrastructural development like the roads, bridges, ports and airports …

The Chairman expressed his hopes that Dong Nai would continue receiving support from Japanese government through granting ODA to the province in order to promote infrastructural and economic development in the province.

Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Mitsuo Sakaba praised the policies of Dong Nai province for attracting foreign investment. He hoped that Dong Nai would continue to support Japanese investors and other foreign investors operating in the province because they were facing an economic situation caused by the world economic crisis. Mr. Mitsuo Sakaba also promised that he would propose to Japanese Government to provide additional grant aid to Dong Nai in coming time.
