Malaysian Ambassador to Vietnam pays visit to Dong Nai

(ĐN)- Lately, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot received the Malaysian Ambassador to Vietnam Dato’ Lim Kim Eng on the occasion of her working visit to Dong Nai province.

(ĐN)- Lately, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot received the Malaysian Ambassador to Vietnam Dato’ Lim Kim Eng on the occasion of her working visit to Dong Nai province.

 

Speaking at the working session, Ms. Lim Kim Eng expressed her happiness to visit Dong Nai and witness positive changes in socio-economic development made by the province.

 

At the reception, the province’s leaders briefed the delegation on Dong Nai’s social and economic development and introduced some projects calling for investment, including airport, port, industrial park, and tourism area. Presently, Malaysia ranks fourth in foreign direct investment in Dong Nai with 32 projects worth more than $1 billion. As known, a Malaysian construction company is now participating in a 600 ha-urban centre project in Nhon Trach district.  

 

Ms. Lim Kim Eng thanked the provincial leaders for their warm welcome and promised that Malaysian Embassy to Vietnam will make all efforts to encourage more Malaysian investors to come to Vietnam generally and Dong Nai particularly.
