(ĐN)- During two days (from 19 to 20 of June), a delegation of the Dong Nai Provincial the Steering Committee for the implementation of Democratic Regulations at grassroots led by Mrs. Bui Ngoc Thanh, standing deputy head of the Committee and Head of the Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee came to Bac Son village in Trang Bom district and Xuan Tay village in Cam My district to check the realization of grassroots Democratic Regulations in these localities.

The delegation witnessed the effective implementation of the grassroots democracy in the two villages. Local people have been given an opportunity to discuss and comment on development programs and projects. They have been willing to contribute their efforts and financial resources to local development projects. This practice helped promoting the people’s role in building the Party and Government.
Mrs. Bui Ngoc Thanh highly appreciated achievements local people and governments have gained in implementing Democratic Regulations at grassroots level. She stressed the need to further implement the Democratic Regulations at the grassroots level in order to create the solidarity, and consensus among all people classes and bringing the people’s role into full play.
