(ĐN)- Recently, the province’s Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs held a conference to deploy plans for 2007 with the presence of Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Huynh Thi Nga.
Accordingly, the department’s major tasks in 2007 are to create jobs for 85,000 laborers, provide vocational training to 54,000 people and reduce the rate of poor households. In order to fulfill the tasks, the department needs to cooperate with local enterprises to recruit skilled employees, improve vocational training quality, and provide loans to 8,000 poor households with total of more than VND270 billion. The department will also focus on to prevent social evils, provide job training and job placement for detoxified drug addicts and help them into the community.
