(ĐN)- The Dong Nai Food Industry Corporation has received the ISO 9001:2000 certificate from BVQI organization which is headquartered in the
Nguyen Thi Le Hong, the chairwoman of the management board of the company said that the ISO 9001:2000 quality management system application aims to accelerate efforts to modernize the management system and raise its competitiveness in the world market.
Knowing that 2006 is the first year to carry out a parent-subsidiary model in the Dong Nai Food Industry Corporation with a total capital of nearly VND 900 billion. The company reported that the financial year 2006 was fruitful for the company as most of financial results were completed above target. According to the company’s report, the company reaped VND 4,206 billion in revenues last year, exceeding the set target by 16 per cent and contributed VND 686 billion to the State budget or 64.75 percent higher than the set target. With above achievements, the company was awarded excellent emulation flag by the Dong Nai People’s Committee.
Speaking at the ceremony to receive the certificate on January 29, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot highly appreciated the achievements made by the company over the past year and also appraised the company’s active contribution to charity and social activities. Mot stressed the need for the company to make greater efforts to raise the company’s role, prestige, efficiency and capacity to cope with new challenges posed by WTO accession in order to become a strong economic group by 2010.
On this occasion, the company donated VND 70 million to build compassionate houses for poor households in the province via the provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
