Bibica builds new factory in Binh Duong province

Bien Hoa Confectionery Joint Stock Company (Bibica) has just started construction of its new factory in My Phuoc 1 Industrial Zone, Binh Duong province. The new factory covers an area of 40,000 meters square with a capacity of 2,500 tonnes of products per year.

Bien Hoa Confectionery Joint Stock Company (Bibica) has just started construction of its new factory in My Phuoc 1 Industrial Zone, Binh Duong province. The new factory covers an area of 40,000 meters square with a capacity of 2,500 tonnes of products per year. It will be equipped with modern production lines from Italy to produce nutritious and high quality products. The first phase of the project will be completed in August, 2007. This phase required an investment of nearly VND79 billion. The factory is expected to achieve VND11 billion in profit from turnover of VND100 billion.    

 

Bibica was recognized as one of the strong trademarks in Vietnam and selected as High Quality Vietnamese Goods by consumers in 11 consecutive years. Its products such as Layer cake, hard filling candy Volcano and others have been selected to serve at the ASEM 5 and the APEC 2006 conference. In 2006, Bibica’s turnover achieved VND341 billion, up 20 per cent compared to the previous year; the profit of VND24 billion, 1.5 times higher than that of 2005. Bibica exported its products to many countries over the world including Japan and American.
