Many organisations and individuals throughout the province has raised fund and provided contributions in the form of cash and material donations to help Typhoon Xangsane victims in the central region overcome their difficulties and stabilise their lives.

The Provincial Committee of the Party, the Provincial People’s Council, Provincial People’s Committee of Dong Nai province and the Dong Nai Fatherland Front have just sent messages of condolences to the authorities of the hardest hit provinces of Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Thua Thien Hue and has also decided to contribute VND 500 million, with sums of 100 million going to Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Thua Thien Hue each, and the rest to Da Nang.
In the meantime, Dong Nai Newspaper received VND 10 million in cash and material donation from Dong Nai Garment Joint Stock Company estimated at nearly VND 20 million in response to help victims of Typhoon Xangsane. On the occasion, staff of the Dong Nai Newspaper has contributed one day of their salaries to help victims of Typhoon Xangsane. Dong Nai Newspaper welcomes donations from individuals and organizations interested in helping typhoon victims in the central region. Gifts that are donated to us are a valuable resource for Typhoon Xangsane victims in order to help them overcome their difficulties and stabilise their lives.
