(ĐN)- Recently, the delegation of Lawrence S. Ting Memorial Fund led by Ting Fei Tsong Ching, chairwoman of the Lawrence S. Ting Fund’s executive board, paid a visit to Doan Ket senior high school in Tan Phu district, Dong Nai province.
(ĐN)- Recently, the delegation of Lawrence S. Ting Memorial Fund led by Ting Fei Tsong Ching, chairwoman of the Lawrence S. Ting Fund’s executive board, paid a visit to Doan Ket senior high school in Tan Phu district, Dong Nai province. During the visit to Doan Ket school, the delegation has studied the application of information technology in teaching and learning in the school. As known, the fund was set up in November 2005 by Phu My Hung Corp. in commemoration of its late chairman Lawrence S. Ting.
Lawrence S. Ting’s widow Ting Fei Tsong Ching, chairwoman of the Lawrence S. Ting Fund’s executive board, said the fund will donate 20 computers, 1 host computer and 1 projector worth about VND200 million to Doan Ket school. Besides, the training programme and instructions for using and maintaining computers will be also provided to the school. The computers will be installed at the beginning of September, 2006. If the equipments are maintained and used effectively by the school, the fund will continue to donate.
