A decision was made on Aug. 9 to raise retail prices for petroleum and oil from 14 p.m. that day.
Petrol prices will increase to 12,000 VND per litre for RON 92 and 11,800 VND for RON 90.
Meanwhile, the new price for diesel and kerosene fuel will rise by 700 VND to 8,600 VND per litre.
The decision was jointly made by the Ministries of Finance and Trade as the world oil price increased to 76.33 USD per barrel.
