(ĐN) - Cargill Vietnam, a US agriculture company with its headquarter in Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Zone, Dong Nai province, has just began building an animal feed mill in central Binh Dinh province.

The mill is expected to start production in early 2007 and will cost about US$ 6 million to build. The mill is designed to have an annual capacity of 60,000 tonnes. It will help Cargill Vietnam to increase its animal feed processing capacity in Viet Nam to more than 700,000 tonnes a year.

Cargill Vietnam General Director Scott Ainslie said that investment decision in Binh Dinh province reflected appreciation for the increasing interests of Cargill Vietnam in the Vietnamese investment environment. He also added that Binh Dinh-based mill’s products will benefit local customers and agencies.
