Dong Nai People’s Procuracy held a meeting to mark the 30th anniversary of the People’s Procuracy sector on the morning of July 26. Also present at the meeting were Mr. Le Hong Phuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Mr. Vo Van Mot, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee. With the establishment of the people’s procuracy sector in June 1976, Dong Nai’s procuracy sector has developed continuously over 30 years. Consequently, the people’s procuracy sector of Dong Nai province has been awarded second-class Labor Medal and received other notable rewards for its outstanding achievements over past 30 years.Addressing at the meeting, Mr. Le Hong Phuong highlighted achievements recorded by the sector during the past years and underline the need to increase the quality of investigation and prosecution. He also called on procurators to constantly improve professional skills and fight negative phenomena. Phuong asked Dong Nai’s the procuracy sector to fulfil key tasks in 2006 with a focus on strengthening co-operation among judicial agencies to effectively combat crime associated with national security, corruption etc.
On this occasion, campaign medals were presented to individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of the sector by Chief Procurator of Dong Nai People’s Procuracy Luong Hoang.
