Last week, Shirai Vietnam held a groundbreaking ceremony for its furniture factory in Amata Industrial Park in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province. The factory is expected to be put into operation late this year. Shirai Vietnam, which is capitalized at US$8 million, produces wooden furniture on an area of more than four hectares. So far, 38 Japanese investors have signed contracts with Amata (Vietnam) Co.
