Department of Science and Technology held on the morning of May 30 the official launching ceremony of the province’s office for provision of information and fielding queries over technical barriers in trade (TBT). The office is located at 260, National Highway 15, Thong Nhat ward, Bien Hoa city.The office will answer to queries raised over issues or trade barriers arising for WTO members under bilateral and multilateral agreement signatories, and conformity assessment process and requirements. The office will also provide information, regarding the content and application of legal documents. This is an important task aiming to assist local enterprises in overcoming technical barriers set by exporters.
