Southern Fruit Festival 2006 opened at Suoi Tien Theme Park

(ĐN)- The Southern Fruit Festival 2006 was officially opened on the morning of May 27 at the Suoi Tien Theme Park in HCM City’s District 9 , attracted more than 100,000 visitors.

(ĐN)- The Southern Fruit Festival 2006 was officially opened on the morning of May 27 at the Suoi Tien Theme Park in HCM City’s District 9 , attracted more than 100,000 visitors. The popular fruit trademarks like Cai Mon durian, Hoa Loc mango, etc are being displayed at the festival.

The festival includes a fruit promotion fair, artistic fruit preparations and seminars, along with a ‘City of Fruits’ display, featuring simulated streets named after fruits including durian, star apple, mangosteen and litchi. During the festival, a contest on plastic arts in fruits will take place with the participants of over 80 artisans.
