Deputy Health Minister Le Ngoc Trong pays working visit to Dong Nai

(ĐN)- Recently,  Professor Doctor Le Ngoc Trong, Deputy Minister of Health, has visited and worked with leaders of Dong Nai province’s health branch on issues related to medical staff training, the construction of Dong Nai General Hospital and the upgrading of Dong Nai secondary medical school into the college, etc.

At the working session, Director of the Dong Nai province Health Department Tu Thanh Chuong and other leaders has presented to the Deputy Minister the plans for implementing the above projects. Accordingly, the project of construction of Dong Nai General Hospital, will be approved by Prime Minister in the near time, is estimated to start construction in the second quarter of 2007. The new hospital will be fully equipped with modern equipments, with a total of 1,400 sick-beds. In the past years, the leaders has been very  interested in training of medical staff with aim to meet demand of the hospitals in the province in general and Dong Nai General Hospital in particular. Therefore, they have requested the Ministry of Health and relevant State agencies to support the plan to upgrade the Dong Nai secondary medical school to a medical  college.

Deputy Health Minister Le Ngoc Trong has highly praised the achievements made by Dong Nai province’s health branch in the past time. He hoped that the branch will concentrate further on the training of medical staff to meet demand of the Dong Nai General Hospital. Accordingly, Ministry of Health will create conditions for Dong Nai secondary medical school to be upgraded into the college.
