(ĐN) – On Monday afternoon, March 13, 2006, Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Dang Thi Kim Nguyen held a working session with Mr. Alain Cany, Eurocharm Chairman in order to prepare for the promotion of trade and investment ties in EU expected by early in the third quarter.

March 13, 2006, Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Dang Thi Kim Nguyen held a working session with Mr. Alain Cany, Eurocharm Chairman in order to prepare for the promotion of trade and investment ties in EU expected by early in the third quarter. Also present at the meeting were representatives from the provincial organizations including Department of Planning and Investment, External Relation Affairs Department and the Provincial industrial zones authorities.
Mr. Alain Candy said he is very pleased to help Dong Nai in promoting trade and investment ties in EU. He noted that this is a convenient time for Dong Nai to organize investment promotion activities in EU. He also offered some proposals for organizing investment promotion seminars in EU as well as establishing better communcations between Dong Nai trade promotion delegation and EU investors etc. in order to get best results.
Mrs. Dang Thi Kim Nguyen said that Dong Nai trade promotion delegation will visit some EU countries such as UK, France, Germany and Italy for calling for investment in the province of Dong Nai. She also thanked Mr. Alain Candy and expressed her appreciation for his interest in assisting the province. Nguyen added that Dong Nai trade promotion delegation to EU will feel more confident thanks to gaining support from Eurocharm. She expected that local authorities combining with Eurocharm will hold a meeting with EU investors in Vietnam by middle of April aiming to introduce them to Dong Nai’s trade promotion programs and activities in EU.
