(ĐN)- In the morning of March 9, the official groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Taihan-Sacom Cables Joint Venture Company (TSC) was held in Long Thanh industrial zone. Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai, Deputy Ministers of Post and Telematics Nguyen Minh Hong and other representatives attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
The joint venture has legal capital of US$28 million, 51 per cent of which has been invested by the Taihan Electric Wire Company of theThe project with total invested capital of nearly US$ 40 million was licensed on December 2005 by Dong Nai Industrial Zone authority. It is expected to come into operation on July 2006. TSC’s productions include telecom and optical ground wire (OPGW) cables , copper and aluminum wires. General Director of TSC Sung Im Ha said that the company expects to reach turnover of around US$25 million in the first year and US$100 million by 2010.
