(ĐN) – During 2 days from March 16 through March 17, the HIV/AIDS prevention and control permanent office under the Dong Nai Health Department held training for 27 specialized officials who were in charge of HIV/AIDS prevention work from provincial districts, Long Khanh townlet and Bien Hoa city. This course aimed to improve knowledge and capacity of local specialized officials dealing with HIV/AIDS and drug problems as well as develop effective communication model for HIV/AIDS and drug prevention. This will contribute to preventing AIDS in drug users and their families and limiting the risk of spreading HIV/AIDS in the area. In addition, this will also contribute to creating the effective barriers preventing from disseminating into the general population from the high-risk groups.
