Delegation from Vietnam Journalists’ Association pays working visit to Dong Nai

(ĐN)- A delegation from the Vietnam Journalists’ Association led by Mr. Dinh The Huynh, member of the Communist Party of Viet Nam’s Central Committee and Editor-in-chief of the Nhan Dan (People’s) newspaper, as President of the association held a working session on February 25 with representatives from Dong Nai Journalist’s Association and the Provincial Department of Propaganda and Training.

At the working session, the Dong Nai Journalist’s Association Chairman Mai Song Be briefed the delegation on the Dong Nai press’s development during the past years. He noted that Dong Nai Newspaper, the official organ of Dong Nai province’s party executive committee, has so far broadened the scope of issues in increasing numbers with improved newspaper quality and made active contributions to State budget. He also took this opportunity to highlight some achievements of provincial journalists to be presented with the national press prizes over consecutive years.

Mr. Dinh The Huynh said he is pleased with the province’s achievements in socio-economic development over the past few years. He praised the great efforts of the provincial mass media agencies on the spread of political propaganda to accomplish all the assigned mission. He also emphasized the need to double efforts so the Dong Nai press can serve better the diverse information needs of readers or viewers and promote further the local socio and economic development.
