The Ministry of Post and Telecom. has agreed in principle with Vietnam Post and Telecommunications new mobile phone charges.
According to the programme, which will take effect as of October 1, charges for Vinaphone and MobiFone will be calculated in accordance with 30-second block + 10. Meaning the first block will be timed at 30 seconds and the following blocks at 10 second intervals.
The Ministry of Post and Telecoms has not allowed VNPT to cut communication charges. It only permits VNPT to reduce monthly subscription fees for post-paid services and daily subscription fees for the daily services
