(ĐN)- About 40 US businesses attended the seminar on investing in Dong Nai province, which was held in GeorgeTown University, Washington DC on September 27 by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Vietnamese Ambassador to the US and representatives from Dong Nai government.
Addressing at the seminar, Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh, Chairman of Dong Nai Province People’s Council affirmed that it has much potential and favorable conditions to attract investment, Dong Nai has become an attractive, safe, and, most importantly, promising and profitable destination for foreign investors. In addition to this statement made by Thanh, some US investors operating in Vietnam such as Cargill, OPIC, Ganon, Exim Bank etc. just to name a few shared their success stories that helped boost US businesss confidence in investing in Dong Nai province. They played an important role in success of the seminar.
Obtained results of the seminar were optimistic future in attracting more US investors to invest in Dong Nai province in near time. U.S investors and business persons interested in investing or doing business in the province in such projects as technical infrastructure, transportation, power and water supply, post-telecommunications, service provider for Long Thanh international airport, Bien Hoa city’s drainage system and industrial, commercial and household waste treatment and the new urban area in Nhon Trach district.
