(ĐN) – On September 14, the Provincial People’s Committee released the provincial atlas which was collection of provincial maps in paperback book format. This book provides a comprehensive overview of Dong Nai province including information on its geography, culture, and economy.... The provincial atlas is designed to serve the interests and needs of a diverse populace in many ways; as an essential reference; as a framework for information discovery; as an instrument of education; as an aid in research; and as an accurate and reliable source for scientific information. Over the past 5 years, with the help of 116 experts, some of whom were scientists from central institutes while the others were from the provincial organizations, the atlas of Dong Nai province has been completed. This atlas is in two forms including print and digital maps which are written into Vietnamese and English languages. Especially, the digital atlas provides easy access to multimedia features such as pictures, sound, and video that are listed in digital archives. This also provides useful information for users at both home and abroad. It helps Dong Nai expand its international relations as well as encourage more foreign investors to run business in the province.
