(ĐN)- Yesterday afternoon June 13, a French delegation as led by Mr. Roger Vioud, Chairman of Rhône-Alpes Council for foreign affairs, non-concentrative cooperation and fair trade paid a visit to Dong Nai in order to discuss about carrying out some projects based on friendly cooperation between Rhône-Alpes and the province.

Vo Van Mot wished to promote further bilateral cooperation based on the friendship between the province and Rhône-Alpes. He also showed goodwill of the local authorities towards Rhône-Alpes. Accordingly, Dong Nai was willing to create favorable conditions for implementing projects being agreed between the province and Rhône-Alpes such as Sonadezi’s technology and business administration college, to further teaching French in Nguyen Du Primary School, Cat Tien National Park was twinned with Filat National Park, to restore and develop the provincial natural forest heritage, teaching aids being supplied to Dong Nai Secondary Technical School by Rhône-Alpes and so forth. These projects have been executed in accordance with the schedule and obtained good results step by step by mutual agreement.
Leaders of Rhône - Alpes also hoped to consolidate the friendly relationship between their region and Dong Nai. At the same time, they would continue to research and extend their activities to other projects, particularly, in support of the local environmental protection and sport development. Mr. Vioud confirmed.
After their visit to Dong Nai, they would report results being gained in the visit to leaders of Rhône - Alpes in order to make out further details of plans. He added.
