During the five past years from 2000 to 2004, the movement being launched in the town has played an important role in speeding up industrialization and modernization here. The economy structure that was predominating agriculture has changed gradually towards industry, construction, trade and tourism year after year. Accordingly, the economy of Long Khanh is growing rapidly and strongly. It contributed actively to step up the local economic and social growth for reaching the provincial target. Based on this emulation movement, the town has also mobilized all levels of society to participate actively in the national programs such as poverty-alleviation, united the whole people for building civilized residential districts, charity works and so forth.
