(ĐN) – In celebration of the great holidays in 2005, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee appealed to individuals, agencies, socio-politic organizations and enterprises located in the local for developing the tradition of being grateful to our benefactor in order to contribute actively to charity fund. With the purpose of showing gratitude towards veterans, soldiers, war invalids and families of the martyrs, the fund will offer help to them out of a difficulty.
In the past years, all levels of society in the province have participated actively in the social work. Thanks to their active contribution, 4,000 houses have been repaired or rebuilt for beneficiaries of social welfare and many passbooks gave to them. At the same time, the fund being raised from the local people financed for the maintenance of many Vietnamese heroic mothers as well as taking care well war invalids and families of the martyrs. As a result, most of them have raised higher their living standards and settled down.
The province, however, has many beneficiaries of social welfare who got into difficulty with poor housing conditions. They need further help from the provincial individuals, organizations and others in order to settle their lives. According to plan 2005, the province will continue to help repairing 200 houses for these beneficiaries.
