(ĐN) – This morning of June 16, the 6th conference on non-concentrative cooperation between VN and French partners took place in Hue city. After passing 13 years, the ever- first conference is held in Vietnam. Accordingly, many regions in France are allowed to take initiative in cooperation establishment between these places and VN partners by French government.

The 2-day conference entitled “To consolidate the cooperation relationship between VN and French partners for bilateral strong development” will evaluate results of mutually cooperated projects and discuss about difficulties to be involved in the process of cooperation as well as bring forward proposals how to gain best results in mutual cooperation on the following fields: development of the rural economy, urbanization, culture, education, health care, environment, administration as well as promoting further bilateral cooperation. Mr. Huynh Van Toi on behalf of the Dong Nai delegation will address a speech entitled “To promote bilateral cooperation for the economy development” at the conference.
At present, there are 657 projects being co-operated by VN and French partners throughout the country in which those of culture, environment, and scientific research are the major denomination. In particular, Dong Nai has established a cooperation relationship with Rhône-Aples since 1998 based on the following programs: construction of infrastructure for public health, education and training techniques, development of the economy, promotion of forest and veterinary development.
