Mr. Sang receives certificate of Indochinese CIO 10 honouree 2005

The three Indochinese countries are the new members of ASEAN. Accordingly, IT should be applied effectively to every field of the economy and the society in order to not lag behind other countries of ASEAN. Therefore, the importance of IT should be awared well by a Chief Information Officer (CIO). Besides, he also takes care about his responsibility, qualification and specialist skills for further IT application. At the same time, contributions of the CIO to IT application for the economy development should be recorded. Based on a proposal of IDG for offering CIO Indochinese honouree certification, ITB of VCCI in coordination with IDG was assigned to choose the best CIO by the National IT Steering Committee. These certifications were offered to those made the best achievements on their IT proposals in companies or organizations where they worked for. CIO from both of administrative body and businesses in every field of the economy including finance, bank, transportation, security service and so on would be chosen for offering these certifications. Mr. Pham Van Sang deserves the reward for his efforts on effective IT application to obtain good results in the local economic and social development. It is known that the ceremony of offering the CIO honouree certification is held in every country of Indochina year by year.
