This office located in Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry.

(ĐN)- With a purpose of popularizing information of epidemic prevention and keeping animals and vegetables in quarantine once Vietnam integrates into WTO, Vietnam SPS office has just established according to the decision as approved by Prime Minister. This office located in Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry. They are responsible for announcing and responding all information related to regulations of epidemic prevention and keeping animals and vegetables in quarantine as well as asking members of WTO about methods and procedures how to evaluate risks and other relevant documents. They also provide with technical support services located in the authorities as follows: Veterinary Department, Botanical Protection Department, Food Safety Department, Directorate for Standards and Quality, Trade Ministry and others.
