In the third quarter, the DNFA’s Standing Committee directed Farmers’ Associations at all levels to carry out their assigned political tasks, with the set tasks largely completed. Notably, 13 emulation targets reached or exceeded 100% of the annual plan. Activities of the DNFA and the farmers’ movement were carried out in a coordinated and effective manner, while communication, mobilization and organizational development saw a number of innovations, gradually enhancing the operational capacity of Farmers’ Associations at all levels.

Meanwhile, the Dong Nai City Farmers’ Support Fund proactively implemented loan programs using funding from the city budget for 2026, creating favorable conditions for farmers to expand production and business activities and develop effective economic models, thereby helping increase incomes and improve farmers’ livelihoods.

In the fourth quarter, the DNFA will accelerate digital transformation across its organizational system, focus on developing collective economic models in agriculture and provide greater support for members and farmers in applying science, technology and digital tools to production and business activities. It will also step up trade promotion, promote agricultural products and strengthen market linkages, while continuing to improve the effectiveness of the Farmers’ Support Fund and strengthen the operation of farmers’ clubs.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the DNFA Cao Tien Sy called on each area of work and each Farmers’ Association at the commune and ward levels to review all assigned targets and draw up a list of outstanding targets, the remaining workload, completion deadlines and those responsible for implementation. He also called for continued efforts to strengthen the Farmers’ Association, improve the quality of grassroots activities and fully implement new regulations issued by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers’ Association, while making the effectiveness of support for farmers’ economic development and higher incomes an important measure of the association’s performance.
