With a strong sense of responsibility, initiative and creativity, workers are striving to boost productivity and improve business performance, helping their employers achieve their 2026 targets and build a foundation for sustainable growth.

Stepping up production on every line

The pace of work at Jason Furniture Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Binh Phuoc Ward has quickened in the final months of the year. Nearly 6,000 workers and other employees are focused on their tasks along the company's production lines, coordinating smoothly at each stage to keep production on schedule, ensure product quality and meet partners' delivery requirements. While maintaining stable production operations, the company is also stepping up labor emulation campaigns to encourage workers to demonstrate a stronger sense of responsibility and boost productivity.

Duong Hoang An, Chairman of the company's grassroots trade union, said order volumes typically rise and production schedules become tighter toward the end of the year. The union is working with the company to encourage workers to increase output and complete their assigned tasks on time. It is also listening to workers' concerns and coordinating with the company to ensure that their entitlements and benefits are protected, helping them focus on their work as the business strives to meet its annual production targets.

At Dong Phu Cuong Joint Stock Company (JSC) in Thong Nhat Commune, production competitions among teams, lines and workshops are tied to targets for productivity, product quality and occupational safety. The initiative encourages workers to sharpen their skills and collaborate more effectively, helping the company fulfill orders on schedule.

In September alone, Dong Phu Cuong JSC recorded strong production and business results thanks to the collective efforts of its staff and workers. With employees working together and taking their duties seriously, the company exceeded its monthly target, generating more than US$1.75 million in revenue, or 122% of its target. The result reflected the company's proactive and flexible approach to organizing production, as well as its employees' determination to fulfill their duties.

Ngo Ngoc Thuan, Deputy Director of Dong Phu Cuong JSC, said the September results had strengthened the company's resolve to achieve its 2026 production and business targets. To recognize workers' contributions, the company rewarded and commended production teams that had performed exceptionally well in meeting their monthly targets. “In the fourth quarter of 2026, alongside efforts to increase output, we will continue to encourage initiatives to improve production processes and cut costs, helping the company achieve its annual targets,” Thuan said.

Working together to reach the finish line

Production drives are encouraging businesses to fulfill orders while preparing for the year ahead. They also help companies meet immediate targets and foster a disciplined workforce with strong industrial work habits, boosting competitiveness and supporting sustainable growth.

In the mechanical engineering, electronics, footwear and wood-processing sectors, workers are striving to meet production targets while demonstrating their skills, responsibility and ability to adapt to increasingly demanding requirements. Skilled and disciplined workers who propose process improvements and master new technologies are playing an increasingly important role in boosting productivity and improving production practices.

Alongside efforts to boost productivity, many businesses are ensuring that workers receive their wages and bonuses in accordance with company policies, improving working conditions and listening to employees' concerns. Such measures help workers maintain their health, feel more secure and stay focused during the year-end production peak.

Le Thi Ha, a worker at FTT Vina Co., Ltd. in Binh Loc Ward, said the company had a steady flow of orders in the final months of the year, providing stable employment and giving workers peace of mind. In addition to ensuring job security, the company offers workers opportunities to work overtime in line with production needs, helping them increase their income, improve their living standards and build up savings to cover living expenses and provide for their families during the year-end period.

To motivate workers, many businesses are creating workplace environments that encourage employees to share ideas and suggest technical improvements. They also recognize and reward outstanding teams and individuals. By tying these initiatives to specific goals, including higher productivity, better product quality, reduced material waste and improved occupational safety, companies are making workplace competitions more practical and results-oriented.

Trade unions at all levels also play an important role in encouraging union members and workers to take part in workplace initiatives. Working with employers to organize campaigns around specific themes and at the team, production-line and workshop levels, they help strengthen solidarity, foster a sense of responsibility and encourage workers to contribute to their companies' success.

Bui Thi Bich Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of the Dong Nai City Federation of Labor, said trade unions at all levels were stepping up communications under the special 500-day-and-night emulation campaign themed “Solidarity – Discipline – Efficiency – Breakthrough, building a civilized and modern Dong Nai.” The unions are encouraging workers to excel at work, pursue innovation and improve productivity, product quality and overall performance. In response, workers across the city are actively joining the campaign and working with their employers to meet production targets and business goals, contributing to Dong Nai's broader development objectives.
