DNFA’s Farmer Support Fund disburses VND79.2 billion

The Dong Nai Farmers' Association (DNFA) disbursed VND1 billion on July 31 from the Farmer Support Fund to 10 members in Thuan Loi commune. Each member received a VND100 million loan to implement an approved production plan.

The loans will be used to rehabilitate cashew orchards, cultivate and care for durian and other fruit trees using organic and biological farming methods, and expand livestock production.

Since the beginning of the year, the DNFA has disbursed a total of VND79.2 billion to support 130 production projects undertaken by 1,126 member households.

Speaking at the disbursement ceremony, Nguyen Van Giang, Acting Vice Chairman of the DNFA, urged members to use the funds for their intended purposes, accelerate the shift toward organic, safe, and sustainable production methods, and increase the application of scientific and technical advances in agricultural production. He also called on members to strengthen cooperation, share production experience, and replicate effective production models to contribute to higher incomes and the development of the local agricultural economy.
