At the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman Nguyen Kim Long shared that Dong Nai recently attained city status and is positioning itself as one of Vietnam's key growth engines. In addition to industrial development, the city is focusing on expanding its logistics and commercial service sectors. With a population of approximately five million people, Dong Nai is developing large urban clusters designed to attract residents and workers. At the same time, areas surrounding Long Thanh International Airport are being planned as a regional and international airport city, creating favorable conditions for domestic and foreign investors to develop modern commercial and service centers that enhance residents' quality of life.
